1) Rapid assessment (days 1 to 5)

  • Interview key stakeholders and delivery leads

  • Identify root causes: governance, scope, capability, suppliers, architecture, data, change adoption

2) Re-baseline (days 6 to 15)

  • Define minimum viable scope and phased delivery

  • Build an executable plan with owners, dependencies, and acceptance criteria

  • Reset reporting so leadership gets truth, not theatre

3) Stabilise and execute (weeks 3 to 8)

  • Establish delivery cadence and decision discipline

  • Remove blockers, renegotiate supplier behaviours if needed

  • Drive delivery against the re-baselined plan

  • Reinforce change management essentials so adoption does not fail
